All Ethiopian dishes are served on top of freshly made Injera and it is also used instead of utensils. You simply rip off a bit of injera and scoop up a savory morsel of food and you eat it all. Injera is a soft spongy, sour dough bread that comes in 3 styles. Regular (similar to white bread), Mixed (similar to wheat bread) and Black (similar to whole grain bread and is naturally gluten free).
After receiving shipment, please refrigerate Injera to prolong the shelf life.
**PLEASE NOTE: To maintain freshness and the quality of the injera, orders that are placed on Thursday-Saturday will not ship until the following Monday. We want you to get the Freshest injera possible. There are NO refunds on injera shipments.
